2016 Kalamazoo Mi, Breakfast on the Farm at North Bridge Church

North Bridge Church located in Cooper Michigan just minutes from Kalamazoo opened it’s doors and property to the local community Sunday Hosting it’s annual “Breakfast on the farm”. Church Volunteers had the opportunity to show the love we can all experience when we love others as Christ Loves us.  The Young and young at heart enjoyed the fun summer celebration. As members of this wonderful church family, we were thrilled to provide the keepsake photos and make some happy memories. Enjoy

Thank you for a great year

We just want to take a second to say thank you to all of our customers and business partners for everything they have helped us accomplish this year! We are a small business that has been growing fast and we have been overwhelmed by the amount of business and support we have gotten this year. At Big Lyle’s we believe in giving back so we would like to share with you some of the non-profits that we have been blessed enough to provide our service as an in-kind donation or at a discounted rate. Each one of these we believe is a great cause and we love being able to help them any way we can! We’ve linked each one so you can go to their site and learn more about them!

We also want to say a quick thank you to a couple of event companies that we love to work with and owe a lot of our growth to! If you are planning an upcoming an event all these companies are so great to work with!

Mariners Inn’s River Rhythm Gala at Motor City Casino

Hey guys, this week we wanted to share an event we did at The Soundboard at Motor City Casino in Detroit.  The event was for Mariner’s Inn, a shelter and treatment center for the homeless.  It is such a great organization that helps men and their families that are affected by substance abuse.

This was our second time doing green screen pictures for this wonderful event and we couldn’t have had a more fun time with it.  We did personalized pictures for their Gatsby themed event that was a hit for every guest that did it and got to take a picture home with them. We can’t wait to come back next year to help such an amazing cause, please make sure to visit Mariner’s Inn on their website to learn more about what they do and how you can help!

Here’s a few picture from the green screen:)

Big Lyle’s Gives Back – You can too

If there is one thing I have noticed working with Big Lyle’s the last few years is that they love to have fun and they love to give back to the community! As a small business, they really value community and helping others.  So far this year Big Lyle’s has had the privilege of partnering with Volunteer Kalamazoo at their Eat, Drink, Give Event and Relay for life at their event in Findlay.

Both events were tons of fun (as usual) for everyone involved! Make sure to check out the pictures below to see how these two events went and the fun the guests had!

For anyone that lives in the Kalamazoo area and wants to know how to get involved in your community volunteer events click here. They have a lot of different opportunities to match your interests. Also, make sure to drop by the Relay for Life website to see events near you or to start an event.

Let the girls lead the way

Chances are you have known somebody that is or has been in Girl Scouts. There’s probably even a higher chance that you have bought a box of their delicious cookies!!

Well today marks the 103rd birthday of the Girl Scouts and I think we should all take the time to celebrate it! Big Lyle’s has partnered with the Girl Scouts many times and we want to share some of the girls that have helped keep this amazing organization going for so long!!

Below are pictures from the huge Girl Scout 100-year party that Big Lyle’s was at helping to connect the ages of scouting! So take a moment to crack open a box of your favorite cookies and enjoy the pictures. 🙂

Dickens Style Christmas at Dominican Sister’s Charity Christmas Party

Event Christmas photography done at Dominican Sister’s charity Christmas party in Grand Rapids.

Celebrating 125 years of mission, the Dominican Sisters hosted a charity Christmas party inspired by the works of Charles Dickens.

Dominican sisters celebrated their 125th year of mission in December with a Christmas party to remember.  Decorations to impress we were given a tree decorated with style that Dickens himself would be pleased with.   Candles, paper chains and other beautiful decorations were also placed about featuring, of course, an old copy of The Christmas Carol.  The sisters and workers at the venue quickly greeted us with excitement and alot helpful hands.  Our photographer, Rashelle Paggeot, put up lights and adjusted her camera and effortlessly started with the shoot.  As there was lots of tours and things to see a slow but steady line was present the whole event.  Smiles all around the event was truly a success.  We used our on-site printer and computer to print out all the images and gave them to the sisters for them to use as thank you gifts for all the attendees.
