KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Eat Drink Give, Volunteer Kalamazoo’s annual fundraising party, is happening on Friday, February 7th at the Radisson Plaza Hotel in downtown Kalamazoo.

2014 marks the 9th year for our party, formerly known as Grape Expectations. The party brings out more than 350 guests to enjoy a unique and memorable evening of local food, drinks, music, fun and giving back. “This year’s party is going to be super fun,” says Carrie Vanderbush, executive director of Volunteer Kalamazoo. “Every year, we add something new to the event. It just keeps getting better and better. We are overwhelmed by the support from our friends and the community.” The money raised through ticket sales, sponsorships and donations made at the party itself go to support the great work of Volunteer Kalamazoo.

Volunteer Kalamazoo has been the center for volunteerism in Kalamazoo since 1965. Volunteer Kalamazoo links people who want to volunteer to the nonprofits that need them. They educate nonprofits on how to work effectively with volunteers. In addition, Volunteer Kalamazoo recognizes and promotes all the great work that volunteers do in the community.
